Return & Refund Policy

At Alfred & August, each item is made to order and printed individually for you. Because of this production model, our return and refund policy differs slightly from traditional retail.

1. Made-to-Order Items

All products are produced on demand. We cannot accept returns or exchanges for:

• Change of mind

• Ordering the wrong size

• Ordering by mistake

• Colour/brightness differences caused by screen settings

Please double-check product details and shipping information before placing your order.

2. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, misprinted or incorrect, we will replace it free of charge.

To request a replacement, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and include:

• Your order number

• A photo clearly showing the issue

• A photo of the packaging (if relevant)

Once verified, we will arrange a replacement through our production partner.

3. Lost or Missing Parcels

We will open an investigation with the carrier if your parcel:

• Does not arrive within the expected timeframe

• Shows as delivered but has not been received

If the carrier confirms a loss, we will resend your order at no cost.

4. Incorrect Shipping Address

We cannot replace or refund orders shipped to an incorrect or incomplete address entered at checkout.

Please ensure all details are accurate before submitting your order.

5. Colour, Print and Sizing Variations

Because each item is printed individually:

• Minor colour variations can occur

• Small print alignment or sizing differences are expected within normal tolerances

These are not considered defects and are not eligible for refunds.

6. Returns

As items are made to order, we do not accept returns unless the product is damaged or defective.

Please do not send items back without contacting us first.

7. Refunds

If a replacement is not possible or you prefer a refund for a damaged item, we will issue a refund to your original payment method.

Refunds typically take 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.

8. Production & Shipping Times

• Production: 2–5 business days

• Delivery: 3–10 business days depending on destination

Total delivery time = production + shipping.
